Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
Finely chop the mushrooms and onion, and mince the garlic.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
Add chopped mushrooms and cook until softened.
In a bowl, combine the cooked mushroom mixture, lentils, cumin, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg.
Form the mixture into patties.
Place the patties on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serve on whole grain buns with lettuce and tomato.
