Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Clean the sardines by removing scales and gutting them. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of the sardines with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
Place sardines on the preheated grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until skin is crispy and flesh is cooked through.
While sardines are grilling, cut the lemon into wedges.
Remove sardines from grill and transfer to serving plates.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
