Nut, almond
0.25 cup
Nut, almond
Cinnamon
0.5 teaspoon
Cinnamon
Honey
2 teaspoon
Honey
Butter

Instructions

1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Wash and halve the pears, then use a spoon or melon baller to remove the cores, creating a small cavity in each half.

2

Place the pear halves, cut side up, in a small baking dish. In each pear cavity, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and drizzle a little honey.

3

Roughly chop the almonds. In a small bowl, mix the chopped almonds with the remaining cinnamon. Spoon this almond mixture into the pear cavities.

4

Dot the tops of the stuffed pears with small pieces of butter. Pour 2 tablespoons of water into the bottom of the baking dish to prevent drying.

5

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender when pierced with a fork and the almond topping is lightly golden.

6

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm. Optionally, drizzle with an extra teaspoon of honey before serving.
